Hey Golfers,
I think that it is important that we can distinguish between practising and warming up.
During a practice session, you should start with a clear goal as to what you trying to achieve. Once you have that clear goal, you want to focus on the technical elements that will help you improve on that skill or area of focus.
During a warm-up, you want to prepare yourself for the game ahead. This should involve stretching and movement to prepare your body. Take some warm-up swings with your clubs to ensure you’re feeling comfortable, and then practise some of the shots you may encounter during your game.
In today’s video, I will go into depth about the differences between practising and warming up and how we can structure both to get the most out of them.
