Parmaker Scout electric golf buggy

Bill Blackshaw
Tin can Bay Golf Club

"I think you could say that I am a dedicated Parmaker person. Sixteen years ago I purchased a Parmaker walker. Having had a bad hip I then progressed to a Spirit Ghia, which I had for about 10 years and 1500 rounds of golf. Recently I retired the Spirit Ghia and purchased an Explorer. I have found all of these products to be excellent. The real bonus is, if you are unfortunate enough to have a problem, that technical advice is freely available (often from the boss himself). If parts are required they are always on the shelf and will be sent very quickly. Sometimes even overnight. Absolutely nobody can beat their service."

Terry Newcombe
Toowoomba City Golf Club

"I have owned my Parmaker scout walker for 5 years. I use it at least once a week it has been a excellent buggy rugged and trouble free . With very good back up service. The course I play has two steep hills and it travels up them with ease."

Jim Webb
Tirhatuan lakes Golf Club

"My wife and I each own Parmaker Scouts. We've had them since 2000. We've found them pretty reliable and easy to use. We can get both buggies and clubs into our car's boot. Most of the problems we've hard have been of our own making. The last drama was because a mate shot mine into a tree at full speed. Parmaker fixed it in about half an hour. It's good not to be without a buggy for weeks while it's being fixed."

Michael Howsin
Garfield Golf Club

"I’m the third owner of this Scout. George Vit had it for 10 years. Some other bloke had it for three years and I’ve had it for 4 years. They’re sturdier than other models. Parts are available which is key, and good service makes the difference.

I’ve seen plenty of blokes waste money and buy other brands online."

Cerberus Golf Club
Lt. Commander Steve Wright, Alan Dewhurst, Steve Dawson, Col Dowd and Kathy Dowd

"We reckon there would be more Parmaker golf buggies at Cerberus per head than any other golf club in Australia. The golf buggies are fantastic, sturdy and reliable. But the best part about Parmaker, and everybody says this, is their service is tremendous. If you ever have little problems with wear and tear, you just drop in there and they'll fix it for you on the spot. You could buy those galloping goat brands on ebay, but who's gonna fix it when it breaks down?

And those little plastic things are always gonna be more problem than a sturdy Parmaker. A friend of ours had one of those other brands, and it was a popular brand, and it took two weeks just to fix a little problem with its wheel. You won't find that at Parmaker."

Garth Rodda
Northland Golf Club, Whangarei, New Zealand

"I have owned a Parmaker Golf Trundler for several years and would not hesitate to recommend them to my golfing friends. It is so much more robustly built than others I see on our course. Even though I did not buy mine new from Parmaker I have had excellent service from Luke whenever I have needed it. Considering that I live in Whangarei, New Zealand any parts that I have required have been supplied promptly and advice on maintenance has been excellent."

Irene Holm
Meeniyan Golf Club

"I find my Parmaker Scout simple to use and very reliable. I’ve had mine for 11 years now. I think I’ve bought it back twice and it’s been instantly fixed. The boys are very helpful."

Margaret Stone
Mt. Martha Golf Club

"I’ve had my Parmaker walker for at least 25 years. The only thing that goes wrong is I wear out the tyres. I like it because it’s easy to use and take apart."

Parmaker Spirit electric golf scooter

Malcolm Macpherson
Camberwell, Victoria

'I've had my Parmaker Spirit Golf Buggy for nearly 10 years now and I calculate I've riden it round the golf course over 1000 times. After all this work it's still going strong. I've never had a problem with it during this time other than one or two little 'niggles', and these were fixed by the excellent staff at Parmaker while I waited. As secretary/ treasurer of the Victorian Veteran Golfers Unions, I can safely say I've never heard another veteran complain about the service at Parmaker. It's first rate."

Jim Greve
Bittern, Victoria

"I've had my Parmaker Spirit Golf Buggy for about 6 years. I play golf regularly and the Spirit Golf Buggy goes just brilliantly. It always gets me around the course without any trouble. It's just so sturdy and reliable. Plus if at anytime you need a new part or anything because of natural wear and tear, you don't need an appointment. You just turn up and they'll fix it for you on the spot. I'd have no hesitation recommending Parmaker to anybody looking for a golf buggy."

Pat Hutchby
Wauchope NSW

I have owned a Parmaker ride-on for 6 years. I am an avid golfer and play, on average, 5 times a week. In 60 years of playing golf, it is one my best buys, the most reliable and practical buggy I have ever owned. I have modified mine to include a canopy (pictured); this gives protection from both the sun and rain. I often get comments about my Parmaker.

Brian Bensted
Keperra Golf Club, Brisbane

Parmaker must be the toughest buggy ever made. The 11th green at Keperra GC is highly elevated. The custom is that when completed, you let buggy free wheel down-hill to the 12th tee. Unfortunately for me my Parmaker hit a bump, went off course, and smashed into a tree at very high speed. Bits flew everywhere, bag, seat, battery etc. I figured I had just lost a buggy, but when I connected it all together and pressed the button, away we went. I completed the round and after a few amateurish repairs at home it never went better....what a tough product.

Joe Taylor
Mirboo North Golf Club

"I’ve just traded my 20 year old Parmaker in on a new one. I don’t think I have had better service anywhere, for anything, than I get at Parmaker. Repairs are done in a couple of minutes and they keep it cheap."

Parmaker Explorer electric ride on golf buggy

Greg Davis
Eastwood Golf Club

"I’ve had other brands, and to me service and back up is really important. I like that Parmaker really know their stuff. I’ve been in to Parmaker 3 or 4 times (mostly my fault) and I don’t reckon I’ve spent 3 or 4 minutes each time getting sorted out."

Trevor Male
Mt Martha Golf Club, Victoria

"I bought my first Parmaker in 1990. It was a difficult decision to buy local, however I chose to do it and it's a decision I have never regretted to this day - some 21 years and 3 Parmakers later and I have never been happier. Having just bought the latest model it’s easy to see the ongoing improvements.

Service over these years has not changed. Luke & Phil are always ready to assist in any way they can. When something goes wrong and it needs to be fixed quick, I can honestly say I have never had to leave the buggy to be repaired. The work has always been done straight away, and this is the most important thing to me. They always get me back on the course quickly.

The personal attention, the welcome, the smiles, you feel like more a friend than a customer at Parmaker. If you are thinking of buying a golf buggy these are the guys you should see.

Good luck and thanks Luke & Phil "

I have been the proud owner of a Parmaker 3 wheel ride-on buggy for many years . I don't use mine for golf. I use it as a mobility scooter and a tool for unloading containers in my business. It has been the only vehicle of choice for me for many reasons.

  • The ease of lowering the handlebars and taking out the batteries and the seat.
  • The extreme lightness of the remainder makes loading and unloading a breeze with or without a carrier for my car.
  • The small turning circle and dimensions enables me to do weekly shopping with ease in confined spaces.
  • The small size and manoeuvrability enables it to be taken on the bus.
  • The bag holder provision can be used to tow a hand truck behind and it has no trouble unloading 20 ton shipping containers on a regular basis and transporting 100 metres to my storage facility . It goes all day on the battery. This was previously a mind blowing amount of work for several people that left me exhausted for days.
  • The large rear wheels never bog or get stuck as on some other scooters.
  • The attitude and ability of the Parmaker team to service and spare parts is unequalled for quality , speed and price.

This is entirely unsolicited in any way and just in appreciation of what Parmaker has done for me over the years.
