The VVGA is grateful to the following for their continued support of the Veterans |
||||
| PARMAKER | ||||
Parmaker has been an active sponsor for 14 years allowing us to produce our Annual Fixture booklet. The expense of production and delivery to Districts is covered by Parmaker. Over the years they have donated many walkers to Districts who have used them as fund raisers and in many instances supporting local charities. We are grateful to Parmaker and also appreciate being a link on their Web Site. Go to www.parmaker.com.au/vvga for veteran news. |

| ROJAY - RESULTS DRIVEN ROHAN JOHNSON |
||||
The VVGA first met Rohan Johnson through Parmaker as Rojay has been Advertising, Branding and Web manager for them. Rojay have been influencial in the development of Parmaker and when the VVGA was able to work direct with Rojay in Parmakers best interests the fixture book became more professional. Today we are very pleased with the result and try to have a book in every veteran golfers hands. We also extend to interstate and many visitors use the book for advice on available fixtures. Eight years ago Rohan suggested that it would be an advantage to create a VVGA Web Site. After some debate and concern re price and ability to operate the site Rohan offered his services free for a trial period and from there we have now a viable and informative site with the ability to download entry forms and meeting minutes etc. In other words our communications which was a real concern has been solved and as more veterans are going on line we will continue to grow this site. We recommend that you view the Rojay Web Site www.rojay.com.au to understand the possibilities for your business or associates business. We confidently provide a testimonial for Rojay - Spark for Hire. |

| HACKER MAGAZINE | ||||
Garry Kennedy Editor and publisher of the quarterly Hacker Magazine kindly offered to publish Veteran News free of charge which has been greatly appreciated by the VVGA especially after the decision by the VGA not to offer space in their Magazine. He continues to publish veteran news each quarter. Garry sponsors the Melbourne District day at Rosanna each year and has made many veteran friends in his support . We recommend that all veterans take out a magazine subscription . Ring Garry at KR Media Pty Ltd (03) 9439 0500 for a special deal. |

| PERRY FLETCHER (FLETCHER THE ETCHER) | ||||
The VVGA has been very grateful to Perry for supplying and engraving trophies for the veterans for 20 years. For many years Perry closed his busy shop in South Yarra to drive to the venue of the State Championship and engrave winners trophies on the spot. Now he is semi retired from the busy commercial world and resides in Mornington selecting business. He has continued to travel to venues around Victoria to engrave for the VVGA. In 2007 the Council nominated Perry to receive his own award as an acknowledgement of his wonderful contribution to veteran golf. The Perry Fletcher Award a magnificent engraved glass plate has been awarded to a selected Veteran for his or her contribution to the veterans since 1993. |
